When you process local files, everything happens on your computer. Embeddings are generated locally. Your documents stay on your disk. We never see, store, or train on your private data.

Cloud OCR (PDFs, Office, images) runs on our serverless GPU workers on demand. Files are processed and immediately deleted from our workers — only the resulting embeddings are stored. Text files (.md, .txt) never touch the cloud.
